He is survived by : his parents, Roger Hammond and Patricia Hammond (Gardner) of Hackettstown; his wife Robin; his sons, Justin of Huntersville and Michael (Syara) of Hixson; his brother Scott Hammond (Holly) of Newark; his sister-in-law Catherine Cavagnaro (Richard) of Blue Ridge; and his mother-in-law Patricia Condon of Denver. He is also survived by several loving nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home (16901 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
