He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Lucas (Baines) and Roy Lucas; and his sister Bonnie Boakye. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Debra Maddox; his son Anthony Jones; his daughter-in-law Neha Yadav-Jones of Iselin; his stepchildren, Ryan Davidson, Nyia Anderson and Kenyanah McNeil; his grandchildren, Trezur "Zayden" Jones and Ananya Yadav-Jones; his stepgrandchildren, Zaiel "Ziggy" Davidson, Daylina Davidson and Kai Maddox; his siblings, Iola Vance of Worcester, Willistine Lucas of Wilson, NC, Roy Lucas of Grafton and Deborah Lucua Jackson of Waterbury, CT; and his niece Nicole Toney. He is also survived by nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (14 Hammond St, Worcester, MA 01610).
