With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Cristina Catinchi of Charlotte, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Alameda and Eulogia Gutierrez Alameda; and her siblings, Fernando Catinchi and Damaris Cathinchi. She is survived by: her sons, Angelo Alameda (NeNe) and Richard Alameda; her sisters, Josefa Liranzo (Ricardo) and Noemi Perkins (Jerry); her grandchildren, Angelo Alameda Jr., Alyssa Alameda (Wade Williams), Andrew Alameda and Alex Alameda; her great grandchildren, Aaron Alameda and Arianna Alameda; and her pet Toby.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Life and Legacy Good Shepherd Chapel (6525 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079).
