We bid farewell to Reuben Silvester Keeton Jr. (Matthews, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 7, 2025 at the age of 97. Reuben touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben S. Keeton, Sr. and Ella Grigsby Keeton; and his daughters, Linda and Laura. He is survived by: his wife Clara; his sons, Lonnie and Michael; his grandchildren, Taylor, Amanda and Jeremiah; his daughter Brenda; and also, Kathy, Ken Broadway, Diana Neer and Rube. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Stallings Church (1115 Stallings Rd, Matthews, NC 28104). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Sharon Memorial Park (5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212).
