She was predeceased by: her husband Herman; her son Dr. Herman Watson Pigg, Jr.; her sisters, Mary Helen Beachum Sheilds and Peggy Ann Beachum Orr; and her son-in-law Miner Edison Threat.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Pigg Threatt and John Darrel Pigg; her daughter-in-law Candace Rhyne Pigg; her grandchildren, Cari Ferguson Stackpole (Robin), Andrew Pigg and April Pigg Newell (David); and her great grandchildren, Jonah, Eli, Sophie Newell and Addyson Pigg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to ongoing contagious illnesses, to protect loved ones and honor lives lost to Covid, there will be no formal visitation.
