He is survived by : his children, Nancy Barnes, Steve Barnes (Sue) of Jackson and Gary (Terresa Barnes) of Youngsville; his siblings, Burland Barnes, Louisville of Kentucky, Talmadge Barnes, Rich Square and Gwendolyn Bazemore of Windsor; and his grandchildren, Joey Barnes, Jason Barnes, Jonathan Barnes, Christy Thacker and Gary Barnes Jr..
