He was predeceased by : his parents, Jeter Parris and Mary Parris (Jones); his parents-in-law, George Frizzell, Sr., Don Southards, Claude Dills, Larry "Tootie" Jamison and Brenda Jamison; and his nephew Jack Dale Parris.
He is survived by : his wife Nell Parris (Jamison); his siblings, Evelyn Frizzell Buchanan (Bill) of Sylva, Dorothy "Dot" Southards of High Point, NC, Joyce Dills of Huntersville, NC and Jack Parris (Alice) of Lincolnton, NC; his nephew George Frizzell, Jr. of Sylva; and his parents-in-law, Bill Jamison of Morristown, TN, Harold Jamison (Darlene) of Sylva, Linda Lowman of Asheville, NC and Sandy Henson (Jimmy) of Weddington, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
