She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barnes and Mary Blanch Sessoms; and her siblings, Maybelline Sessoms, Williemae Sessoms and Frank Sessoms.
She is survived by: her husband Carl E. Ryans; her children, Delvan Sessoms of Loganville, GA, Antonio Sessoms of Statesboro, GA and Chelsee Thomas (Dexter); her siblings, Toni Sessoms of Newport News, VA and Wallace Sessoms of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Arianna and Sydney; her nephew Bernard Sessoms; and her close friends, Ruthetta Echos and Connie Spencer. She is also survived by husband, children, grandchildren and many dear friends.
