He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruthey Shepard Ollison; his children, David Lee Ollison, Jr. (Denise) of Chesapeake, VA, Simone Ollison-Jones (Aaron) of Virginia Beach, VA and Tiffany Lorick of Charlotte; his goddaughter Zelda Bryant of New Bern; his stepdaughters, Brenda Shepard Tyrance of Cary and Beverly "Cookie" Shepard of Snellville, GA; and his sisters, Lillie O. McDaniel of Chesapeake, VA and Mary Annie Willis of Brooklyn, NY. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
