He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Shepard; his daughters, Stefanie Cooper (Rhett Cooper), Kimberly Ascolese (Anthony Ascolese) and Amber Shepard; his grandchildren, Matthew Shepard (Jordan Shepard), Rebecca Cooper, Hunter Cooper and Ella Shea Ascolese; and his sister Ruby Dianne Burnside (Jim Burnside).
