With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald G. Thomas Sr. of Richlands, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 84. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Donald Thomas, Jr. (Fiona) of Milltown, NJ, Deborah Parker of Charlotte and Valentina Achille of Raleigh; and his siblings, John H. Matthews, Jr. (Renee) of Goose Creek, SC, Barbara Matthews Garrett of Bronx, NY and Robert F. Matthews (Deborah) of Jacksonville.

Viewing will be held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saunders Funeral Home (210 Bell Fork Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
