He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Stevens and Christopher Stevens; his grandson Dustin; and his brother Stevie. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Sharon Henderson, Diana Bradley (Gordon), Julie Bailey (Horace) and Jimmy Stevens Jr. (Tammy); his grandchildren, Chris, Josh, Kevin and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Fletcher, Natalie, Gwen and Colt; and his siblings, Kenneth Stevens, Selma Gibson and Mary Spain.
