We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2018, at the age of 82, Joyce Poole (Jacksonville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Alex Perkerson and Elizabeth Jenkins Perkerson; and her brother John Alex Perkerson, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Hugh Poole, Jr.; her cousins, Eleanor McArthur Hamlett, Ann McArthur Milton, Luther W. McArthur, Jr., Julia Jenkins Motes, Shirley Perkerson Johnston and Barbara Perkerson Henck; and her pet Christian.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Georgia, P.O. Box 785 Roswell, GA 30077-0785 or to any Humane Society of your choice.
