It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurie Ball Phoebus of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Lee Ball and Ivy Mays Ball; her husband Robert L. Phoebus; her grandson Colin Fitzpatrick; and her siblings, Johnny Ball, Harvey Ball, Elizabeth White and Anne Cameron.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Phoebus of Jacksonville, Cindy Fitzpatrick of Jacksonville and Ron Phoebus of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Taylor Fitzpatrick, Darci Peistrup, Dawn Frank, Morgan Phoebus and John Phoebus; and her great grandchildren, Isaac James, Emerie Leigh and Easton Jordan.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery (110 Montford Landing Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
