We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2021, at the age of 89, Mabel Scholtes of Jacksonville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mabel Scholtes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, James Brinson and Lillian Hunter Brinson; her former life partner Harry Fountain; and her husband William Scholtes. She is survived by : her daughters, Bobbie Huddleston (John) of Jacksonville and Robin Lear (Dan) of Dover, DE; her grandchildren, Amanda, Erin, Rachel and Allison; and her sisters, Mildred Hussey of Wallace, Mary Miesse of Ohio and Mona Grella of Virginia. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
They also suggests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Community Hospice, 3045 Henderson Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28546.
