With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melva L. Griffin (Jacksonville, North Carolina), who passed away on November 10, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Jenkins of Pueblo, Benita Armour and Esther Fairow (Brian); and her sisters, Mae McMillan of Jacksonville, Betty Ford of Raleigh, Janie Sharpe and Geneva Waters. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
