She is survived by: her husband Maurice Hood of Richlands; her stepchildren, Chuck Hood (Alison) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Joseph Hood of Jacksonville, NC and Kimberly Betsecon (Adam) of Richlands, NC; her grandchildren, Kaitlin, Thomas, Morgan and Willow; and her siblings, Mary Jane Shrader of Virginia, Nora Stevens of Roseboro, NC, Frank Carpenter and Jimmy Carpenter of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
