She is survived by: her husband Russell Walton; her son Joshua "Josh" Walton of Jacksonville; her pet BoBo; her parents, Edward Turnage and Maureen Shepard Turnage of Jacksonville, NC; her sisters, Francia "Fran" Antinori (David) of Sneads Ferry, NC and Theresa "Tessi" Hollis (Al) of Columbia, NC.; her cousin Phyllis "Lil Sis" Bryan of Jacksonville, NC; and also, Lewis Walton (Vickie) of Jacksonville, NC and Harold Walton (Peggy) of Jacksonville, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (2531 Burgaw Hwy, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Yvonne's memory be made to either Lighthouse Baptist Church of Jacksonville or Southeastern Oncology Medical Center (SOMC) of Jacksonville.
