With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Callie Maynard Hopkins of Jamestown, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Robert Maynard and Effie Oxendine Maynard; her husband Elmo "Bo" Hopkins; her siblings, Bracy Maynard of Max Maynard, E. C, Eugene Maynard, Bob Maynard, Etta Mae Maynard Lowry, Eunice Maynard Wallace and Betty Maynard Ledbetter; her son Todd Hopkins (Pam); and her grandson Toby Hopkins.

She is survived by: her brother Tracy Maynard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Children's Home Society of North Carolina.
