She was predeceased by : her parents, Allie Wells and Annie Mae Roberson Wells; her husbands, Joseph Leonard Hardison, Charlie Gilbert Mobley and James Davis Modlin; her son Joseph W. Hardison; and her siblings, Mamie C. Raynor, Belie M. Asby, Myrtle V. Gardner, Hazel F. Parker, Woodrow Wells, Raleigh Wells and Allen Wells.
She is survived by : her children, Violet D. Gladfelter of Jamesville, N. C., Joan M. Leggett (Mark) of Jamesville, N. C., Janet F. Hardison of Washington, N. C. and Christopher S. Hardison (Kristie) of Williamston, N. C.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jamesville Fire and Rescue or Jamesville Christian Church.
