He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Sherwood and Mabel Pye Davis; and his siblings, Lewis Sherwood Davis, Jr. and Helen Elizabeth Davis Biggs. He is survived by: his wife Candace Harrison Davis; his son John Brandon Davis (Kimberley) of Jamesville; his nephew Richard Davis (Darlene) of Columbia, SC; his sister-in-law Sylvia Furlough (Buddy) of Hampton, VA; and his sibling's children, Kellan and Kaitlyn Furlough.
