She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie C. Barr and Dottie Howell Barr; and her siblings, Junior Barr, Raymond Cecil Barr and Peggy Miller (Charlie Lee Rhodes). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel (3470 U. S. Hwy 221 N, Jefferson, NC 28640). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at the same location.
