She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Buelin and Bessie Marshall Buelin; her husband Thomas "Tom" Collins; and her siblings, J. D. Buelin, Charles Buelin, Mary Yarboro and Harlene Swaim.
She is survived by: her brother Delmar Buelin; and her niece Loretta Yarboro Andrews. She is also survived by children, but she loved her nieces and nephews and their children.
