She was predeceased by : her father George Hemric; her husband Glenn Lee Atkins; and her siblings, Edna Boyd, Unis Hemric, Maxine Barker, Annie Billings, Grace Ross, Dewey Hemric, Ralph Hemric, Clyde Hemric, Lawrence Hemric and Walter Hemric.
She is survived by : her children, Tommy Atkins and Carolyn Arander (Eddie); and her grandchildren, Anthony McCann, Josh Atkins, Monique Atkins, Michelle Atkins and Misty Barnes. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
