It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Goodwin (Julian, North Carolina), born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on June 2, 2018, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her brother Owen Bernice Smith, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Jacob Cody Goodwin and Elena Brandi Goodwin; her stepson Lucas James Goodwin; her sisters, Susan Smith Lewis (John) of Wake Forest, NC and Ann Karen Smith of Carolina Beach, NC; her sister-in-law Berrie Smith Bunn of Rocky Mount, NC; her stepsiblings, Jeff Parker of Charlotte, Pam Johnson (Steve) of Bear Creek and Lee Parker of Rocky Mount; and also, Uncle and Kenneth Mack Smith (Betty Ann) of Greensboro, NC.
