He was predeceased by: his father Harry Russell; and his sisters, Phyllis Rucker and Savonnie Russell. He is survived by: his mother Vanessa Hollis Russell; his son Jaquan Russell of Kannapolis; his siblings, Kyesha R. Kasing (Justin) of Kannapolis, Evelyn Russell Dixon of Kannapolis and Harry Lee Russell (Terry) of Kannapolis; and his close friend Dashawnda Cotton of Salisbury.
