She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter Meeks and Effie Gaddy Meeks; her husband Ray Dillon Rowell; her son Douglas Rowell; her daughter-in-law Brenda Rowell; and her siblings, James T. Meeks, Charlie Meeks, Virginia Lovette, Louise Biggerstaff and Bernice Hunsucker.
She is survived by: her pet Chihuahuas; her children, Michael Rowell, Stephen Rowell and Debbi Bynum (Jerry); her grandchildren, Delaina Currie (Phil), Melissa Houston (Sam), Sandy Edwards (Junnie) and Mandy Nester (Tim); and her great grandchildren, Macy Currie, Coltan Currie, Bailee Nester, Lauren Dunlap and Joshua Edwards.
