With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Efird Jr. (Kannapolis, North Carolina), who passed away on August 8, 2019 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carson Efird, Sr. and Cleonia Efird. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Efird; his sons, Jeff Efird (Dee Dee), Neil Efird and Daniel Efird; and his siblings, Wayland Efird (Janet) and Bonita Thompson (Kevin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln., Kannapolis, NC 28081.
