He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Walker Brock and Bessie Leona Pressley Brock; his wife Iva Brock of Virginia; and his siblings, Samuel William Brock, Harold Dean Brock, Mary Louise Terry and Sarah Bernice Joplin.
He is survived by: his son Darol James Brock (Lee Ellen) of Kannapolis; his grandchildren, Jenilee Hope Kennedy (Mark) of Clemmons and Seth Walker Brock (Traci) of Kannapolis; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Heidi, Kate Kennedy of Clemmons, Julia and Sam Brock of Kannapolis; and his sister Shirley Ann Barnes of Chesterfield, SC..
