He was predeceased by : his father Durward Hugh Padgett; and his granddaughter Alexa Padgett. He is survived by : his mother Vernice Hollis Padgett of Maple Hill, NC; his wife Katherine Niblick Padgett; his children, Carrie Niblick of Ocoee, Fla., Heather Niblick Connell (William) of Greensboro, Steven Niblick, II of Ocoee and Shane Padgett (Erica) of Eden, NC; his brother Brent Padgett of Maple Hill, NC.; and his grandchildren, Lacie Padgett, Maggie Connell, Killian Padgett and Baylen Padgett. He is also survived by animals, he and his wife have three rescue dogs.
