He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Bonnie Honbarrier Broome of Kannapolis; his grandparents, Wade, Lavonia Dixon and Betty Honbarrier; his sons, Travis Helms and Matthew Broome; his granddaughter Payton Helms; his father Darrell Broome; his grandparents, Margie, Jimmy Canup and Dewey Honbarrier; his sisters, Angie S. Richardson and Jennifer B. Phifer; and his brothers-in-law, Danny Richardson of Concord and Donald Phifer of Concord. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
