He was predeceased by : his mother Odessa Manley Powell; and his grandparents, Elnora, Jim Manley, Jesse B. and Rebecca Powell.
He is survived by : his father Jesse B. Powell (Ruth); his wife April Manley; his stepchildren, Cameron Gooding and Johnathan Kelly; his siblings, Sherry Powell, Latika Moore (Tony), Twalla Powell, Monika Jones, Ayasha Herring and Cornelius Jones; his parents-in-law, Patricia and Bruce Kelly; his aunts and uncles, William Johnson (Judy), Rev. Willie Powell (Cynthia), Apostle William Powell (Carolyn), Johnnie Powell (Eilene), Eddie Caldwell, Eva Brinson, Lucille Bass, Alice Silver (Donnell), Barbara Faison (Cleon), Beatrice Williams, Rosa Chestnutt and Patricia Matthews; and his friend Kenneth Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews including two great nieces and one great nephew, close cousins, relatives and friends.
