She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Philip Whitley; her grandchildren, Garrett Whitley and Sarah Whitley; and her brothers, Willard Holland, Orez Holland (Bud), Willis Holland (Bill), Wallace Holland and Rupert Holland.
She is survived by: her daughter Cassie Bailey (Charlie) of Pikeville; her grandchildren, Kayla Whitley, Deanna Edwards and Devin Bailey; and her siblings, Annie Lee Barnes of Fremont, Doris Godwin of Lucama and Jimmy Holland of Wilson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in her memory to Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church, 2201 Piney Grove Church Rd, Kenly, NC 27542.
