He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby G. Edwards and Bobbie Parker Edwards. He is survived by: his friend Rev. Jimmy Murray; his wife Sandy Nixon Edwards of Kenly; his stepdaughter Cynthia Cheek; his sisters, Tammie Edwards, Tonya Taylor and Michelle Parrish; and his siblings' children, Tony Cooper, Denver Nixon, Brayden Ennis, Glen Edwards and Rebecca Fowler.
