He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Thomas Davis and Irene Shore Atkins; and his siblings, Johnny Davis, Patricia Davis and Rebecca Flynt.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Davis; his children, Toni Ray (Brandon) and Gary Thomas Davis II (Tina); his stepdaughters, Ann Holt (Mark) and Carol Girard (Frank); and his siblings, Jack, Wayne, Reuben "Pug" Thomas, Jr., Albert Davis and Sylvia Baker. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
