With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Allmond Padgett of Kernersville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 78. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marshall Grant Allmond and Kathryn Tucker Allmond; her husband Everett Padgett; her sister Ann Allmond Smith; her niece Nancy Kate Shanks; her children, Everett "Rett" Padgett III (Ashley) of Belews Creek and Elizabeth Kremer (Paul) of Winston-Salem; her sister Kathryn Shanks of Pasadena, Maryland; her grandchildren, Everett Benton Padgett IV, Alden Finch Padgett and Ethan Paul Kremer; and her siblings' children, Kathy, Marsha, Margie, Susan and Billy.
