She was predeceased by: her parents, James McCoy and Dorothy Louise Knox Nash; and her sisters, Jessie Knox and Faye Knox Williamson. She is survived by: her sister Dr. Willette Nash; her sibling's children, Vernon Peoples, Jana Minor-Oliver, Lissa Cheek and Tribut Williamson, Jr. (Kim); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Vernon Richardson, Jana'Minor, Charles Minor, Jr., Brandon Davis, Bryan Davis, Kameron Oliver and Carolyn Williamson. She is also survived by sixteen great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hooper Funeral Home (1415 14th St NE, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
