He was predeceased by: his father Roy Kenneth Whitaker, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Kiger Whitaker; his wife Debbie Baumgartner Whitaker; his children, Brian Whitaker and Jessica Hodges (Jimmy); his grandchildren, James, Dena and Reid; his sister Karen Holder (Dan); and his sibling's children, Farrah Hilton (Richard) and Chris Holder (Loren).
