With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Scott Edward McClelland of Kernersville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 67. As Scott Edward departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Scott Edward may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Scott Edward leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marc Mermod McClelland and Nancy Susan McClelland; and his brother Ted Gregory McClelland. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher McClelland (Jamie Ohants), Jason McClelland (David Lyall) and Eric McClelland; and his brothers, Gary McClelland (Hilary) and Kevin McClelland (Wendy Hudson). He is also survived by five nieces; and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel (3950 Macy Grove Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284).
