He was predeceased by : his parent Pearle Bailey Saunders. He is survived by : his parent Comm; his wife Nora Lee Jennings Saunders; his children, Deborah Anne Deringer (Keith Edwards) and John Richard Taliferro Saunders III (Victoria Saunders); his grandchildren, Lauren Deringer French (Austin French), John Richard Taliferro Saunders IV, Paige Marie Deringer (Ian Stanley), Christine Elizabeth Saunders, Wesley Dakota Holland, Haley Brooke Edwards and Seth Simms Edwards; his niece Jennifer Jennings Linder; and also, Gloria, Ryan, Ross Pinto, Linda Pierce and Glenn Ray Pierce.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
