It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Coy Smith (King, North Carolina), born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on February 25, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Coy Baxton Smith and Eleanor "Ellie" Virginia Smith; his brothers, Bobby Smith and Marvin Smith; his son Daniel Craig Smith; and his granddaughter Miranda Hope Finch.

He is survived by : his children, Steven Grant Brooks (Jackie), Darryl Wayne Smith and Lori Denise Smith; his grandchildren, Jennifer Brooks (Alex), Melissa Hughes (Shaun), Jeffrey Miles (Liz), Courtney Barber (Chris), Jake Brooks, Jared Brooks, Danielle "Hailey" Smith and Caroline Rowell; his great grandchildren, Cassie, Alex, Anessa, McKenzie, Kingston, Zaiden and Phoenix; and his sister Sharon Smith.
