She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Jolly Moss and Forrest Evan Moss; her husband John Lewis Hughes Sr.; and her siblings, Mildred M. Whetstine, Virginia M. Gibson, Solon Moss, Earl Moss and Kenneth Moss.
She is survived by: her sons, John Lewis Hughes Jr. and Jeff Hughes (Kimberly R. Hughes); her grandchildren, Jesse Hughes and Amber Hughes; and her siblings, Larry Moss and Sheila Moss Ledford.
