She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bennett and Minnie Lee Jones Bennett; and her husband Wintford Russell. She is survived by: her children, Dale Russell (Diane), Tonya Russell Hall (Chip) and Elaine Russell Grigg (Alfred); her grandchildren, Russell Bumgardner, Tracy Russell Smith, Ryan Hall and Josh Hall; and her great grandchildren, Aidan Bumgardner, Bella Bumgardner, Caden Smith, Carsen Smith, Bentley Hall and Raelynn Hall.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harris Funeral Home (108 S Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A reception was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
