With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Dixon of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, born in Chimney Rock, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Berry Flynn and Nannie Bell Shytle Flynn; and her sister Beth Flynn Reichley. She is survived by : her husband Sidney Roy Dixon; her children, Jean Dixon Webb (Harvey) of Shelby and Aaron Dixon (Paige) of Gastonia; her grandchildren, Amanda Buchanan (Mike) of Shelby and Andrew Dixon of Gastonia; and her great grandchildren, Cole Buchanan (Brittany) and Charley Kate Buchanan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends after the graveside service and request that all guests wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mildred may be made to Hospice House Wendover or First Baptist Church Kings Mountain Mission Readiness Fund.
