She was predeceased by: her husbands, Vernon Todd Maples and Walter Bryant Rouse; her parents, Milton Honor Aspden and Doris May Aspden; her son Milton Todd Maples; her great grandchild John Kenneth Franklin II (JK); and her sister Dorrie Aspden.
She is survived by: her daughter Doris Ann Hawkins (Robin) of Dover; her grandchildren, T. J., Jennifer, Billy, Christin, Matt, Sam, Brittany, Alleigh, Jordan, Dusty, Jenny, Jessy and Eli; her niece Elizabeth Clark of Greensboro; and her sisters, Beth Clark of Greensboro and Carol Taylor of Alabama.
