He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Joseph Ruggiero, Sr. and Julia Fatalo Ruggiero; and his sister Maryann Ruggiero. He is survived by: his wife Anne Gordon Ruggiero of Kinston; and his daughters, Amy Ruggiero and Bethany Ruggiero of Durham.

There will be no visitation prior to the funeral or afterward gatherings due to COVID restrictions and safety guidelines.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
