He was predeceased by: his parents, William Guy Wetherington, Sr. and Essie Aldridge Wetherington; his son Clifton Ray Wetherington; and his siblings, Mary Louise W. Loftis, Doris Whaley Jackson, William Thomas Wetherington and William Guy Wetherington, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Kitty" White Wetherington; his children, Chester Darin Wetherington (Donna Lockamy Jones) and Teresa Kay Rodriguez (Miguel Angel Rodriguez); his grandchildren, Brian Joseph Wetherington, Ray Allen Aull, Cecilia Marie Whitlow (Bartley Ray Whitlow) and Timothy Wayne Aull (Victoria Hackworth Aull); his great grandchildren, Ainsley Catherine Aull and Lilyana Zoey Whitlow; and his siblings, Daniel Clifton Wetherington, Sr. (Evelyn Wetherington), Jean W. White and Rose W. Scott. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grand-daughters.
Due to COVID-19, the family has requested that social distancing be practiced, and face masks worn.
