It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Braxton Oliver II (Kinston, North Carolina), born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Sherry Oliver Cobb; and his parents, Braxton Smith Oliver I and Florence Croom Oliver. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Alexander Oliver (Andrea) and Jordan Andrew Oliver; his stepmother Mavis Guthrie Oliver of Havelock, NC; his aunts, Gretta Oliver Givens of Thompson Station, TN and Jane Oliver of Suffolk, VA; and his cousin Ramona Jenkins of Kinston, NC..
Upon his health declining with Parkinson's Dementia, he became a resident at the North Carolina State Veteran's Home in Kinston, NC from May 31, 2018 until April 7, 2020.
