He is survived by: his wife Sadie Williford Williams; his children, Rita Atkinson (Jeffrey) of Kinston, Pam Williams Lanier of Richlands, Tammy Williams Ellis of Richlands and Terry Williams of Wilson; and his grandchildren, Amy Sandlin, Crystal Letchworth, Jeffrey Atkinson, Jacob Williams, Carl B. Williams, Lauren Woodcock, Terry Williams, Justyn Boling, Dennah Hunt, Brandi Harris and Jesse Thomas.
