He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Charles E. Spell; his grandparents, Albert and Mavis Lanier; his mother Joanne Williams (John); his children, Caleb Spell (Jessica Roberts), Trevia Herring and Somer Hill; his sister Teresa Daughety (Mac); his grandchildren, Hannah, Monica, Ali, Tori and Coy; his great-nephews, Houston and Nick; his great-niece Lillith; his close friends, Jarah Baker and Renee Stroud; and his son Ozzy. He was also cherished by great-grandchildren.
